Reality of unlimited hosting:Is it real

Many people think that “more is better”. This is obviously thought to be same with web space. Some people always want to get huge spaces though their site may never actually need that much space. Moreover ,there is no such direct benefits by having web space 5 times or 10 times than actually needed space. Specially, people who doesn’t fully know about technical web space requirements are often preyed by web hosters who always try to sale big space  to ignorant users. The person may need just 50mb and could have got it for x but the web hosters  makes packages in a such a way that they offer 500mb for 4x then people always tend to go for 500mb though space is not required for them.

Besides these clear disadvantages, some of the points to remember before opting to unlimited hosting are:
Most of the servers selling unlimited space are over-crowded by resource consumers.(After all many opt for unlimited hosting because they  need huge resource of the server, so there is bunch of resource consuming site, fighting for the resource of the computer )but as you know the resource of the server is limited(I have heard unlimited MB ,RAM) so ultimately your site offers.
You should be very careful about the low price claims made by these unlimited sites. Are there any hidden cost. Hidden cost doesn’t need to be implied just like extra money for than basic  features but many packages require long term commitment or payment in advance to get the listed bargain. So, these hidden cost are also dangerous.

It has been said, raised by many customers that these unlimited hosters have very poor support. It is bound to be as most of them promise to deliver or provide higher than actual dollar or money could buy(paid by web space buyer).So, after all they need to pay for increasing support staffs as well but low cost inhibit them from doing so which ultimately results in to poor service.
People should understand difference between LARGE and Infinite. These  are not infinite web space or bandwidth .They actually are larger than required for normal websites. After all everything on the earth is limited and finite. We have not heard that  somebody has  invited computer with infinite space and infinite bandwidth.
You mostly find unlimited web space in  shared servers but do not find unlimited dedicated servers. So, it should be noted that they are planning to share  large space to LARGE number of people(may be to accounts larger than its capacity)  than normally done with normal servers.
So don’t just blindly go to so called unlimited. After all nothing is unlimited in the earth. It’s  just how it is presented to disguise people using different tricks.
